I was very grateful to be treated with respect and professionalism from the staff at MantisAuto Consignment & Sales. Alison and Matt were both honest and pleasant in their dealings with me. Matt set up a pre purchase inspection for me that took exactly as long as he said it would, and was forthcoming about the work that the car would need, rather than being misleading (which is what I experienced everywhere else). He told me honestly about the fact that the current owners had opted not to put new rotors on the car, but that it was something I should know that the car would need next time the brakes were serviced. The inspection (which was done by a mechanic who works with MantisAuto Consignment & Sales) was done in a timely manner and yielded honest results. The office at MantisAuto Consignment & Sales feels comfortable and intimate, but also very professional and clean. I test drove the car, had it inspected, settled on a price, and bought the car all in one afternoon - and it was far and away the least stressful day that I had during my entire search for a car (which went on for almost a month). While I was at the bank getting the cashiers check to buy the car, Alison had prepared all of the necessary documents, just as she said she would. She was professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire process. She didn't rush me and she certainly wasn't pushy, and she also did not waste one minute of my time, which I appreciated so much. It was a completely hassle-free experience, and I left feeling SO relieved and grateful. I recommend this place every chance I get since I bought a car from them.
